C. Y. O'Connor

Sir John Forrest, about to set off on an expedition to find Ludwig Leichhardt. On becoming Premier of Western Australia, he employed C.Y O'Connor to oversee major public works, such as the railway to Adelaide, making Fremantle Harbour and building the pipeline to the goldfields.
